Frequently Asked Questions

Are you currently taking any custom orders?

Sorry, we are no longer taking any custom orders.

How do I sign up for one of your classes?

We post links to sign up for our available classes under the “classes” tab at the top of our home page. Links are updated all the time so check back frequently. Subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know about new classes! The majority of our classes are taught at Orson Gygi in Salt Lake City, Utah. However, we also offer Add-On Workshops at Cookie Con. When these hands-on workshops are available, we will post details and a link to sign up under our “classes” tab. Cookie Con is an out of state convention so please read all of the details provided for a class before you sign up! You can see more information and details about this cookie convention here. We offer basic and advanced decorating classes. Enrollment for either type of class is open to students of all skill levels.

Do I need to take a basic decorating class before I take an advanced class?

The short answer is NO. You do not have to take a basics class first. You’ll find a variety of decorating experience and skill with students in all our classes. We walk you through the decorating process step by step from beginning to end sharing our favorite tips and secrets all along the way. That combined with the live demo and hands-on experience will help you be successful no matter where you’re starting from. We strongly encourage students to take a basic class if you are new to cookie decorating. The basic classes cover important elements of the recipes, the baking process and icing prep that are essential to successful decorating!

Where can I buy your custom cutter and stencil designs?

Several different companies have helped us produce our cutter and stencil designs. You will find a complete list with more details and links under our “cutters” and “stencil” tab at the top of our home page.

I’m interested in buying an airbrush. Is there one you would recommend?

We love the Artfully Designed Creations airbrush for several reasons. You can see more details about the airbrush and why we love it listed under the airbrushing section of our “Tools” tab.
